In this role, you will:
- Manage and support global treasury activities including funding, liquidity risk management, asset and liability management, capital management, financial performance management, and related activities
- Monitor and evaluate global market conditions and provide overall advisory on treasury finance risk
- Be responsible for complex reporting and analytics on treasury finance metrics
- Ensure accurate recurring deliverables are completed and compliant with various treasury risk management regulatory requirements
- Ensure data quality and establish controlled processes
- Collaborate with Internal Audit, Corporate Risk Management and Model Governance teams as well as outside parties including regulatory agencies, accounting and consulting firms
- Make recommendations to more experienced group members and management
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal customers
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications, US:
- Experience in Treasury, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4 years of experience in one or a combination of the following at a top tier Investment Bank or Management Consulting Firm: Investment Banking, Treasury Finance, Management Consultant focusing on Treasury, Investment Banking, and/or Capital Markets.
- BS/BA degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge and understanding of the treasury management industry: Market Linked Notes, Collateral Optimization, stress testing, liquidity management
- Capital Markets background including Derivatives, and/or Unsecured funding markets
- Financial analysis or accounting experience
- Advanced Bloomberg, Microsoft Power Point and Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge and understanding of financial analysis, forecasting and analyzing balance sheet behavior
- BS/BA degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, or Business
Job Expectations:

Responsibilities typically include, but are not limited to:
- Liaising with the front office on behalf of Corporate Treasury to analyze new origination Market Linked Notes for underlying liquidity value, funds transfer pricing determination, hedge characteristics, capital markets impact, reputational risk, and impact on the firm’s overall funding portfolio
- Help identify and execute collateral optimization opportunities within and across business groups
- Prepare updates on optimization opportunities for the Collateral Management Governance Sub-Committee
- Assisting in production of presentations for senior management as well as regulatory bodies
- Assist, when needed, in preparation of analyses related to Resolution and Recovery Plans
- Working with line of business collateral management team members to facilitate required reporting and analysis
- Preparation of additional ad-hoc analyses / presentations and completing special projects with tight deadlines
- Assisting in further development of reporting tools and methodologies and testing of implementation of improvements / enhancements
