What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver position at Wells?
Job Summary
The Driver will deliver Wells products safely and efficiently to our internal and external customers. Most hauls are same day within a primary delivery zone defined as Wisconsin and Illinois.
Essential Job Functions
- Completes pre-operational and post-operational inspections on all job-related equipment including truck.
- Delivers and picks up materials from internal and external customers daily.
- Load and unload truck and strap down loads.
- Represents Wells as a professional, customer focused team member.
- Assists with various non-driving duties at SGS when time permits including but not limited to welding, inventory, and assembly of machines.
Non-Essential Job Functions
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Clean driving record and history.
- Previous forklift and gradall experience a plus.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include overtime and Saturday work.
