Welsh Equipment is looking for purchasing agent.
The Purchasing Agent:
- Purchases materials
- Manages trade contractors to maintain a competitive edge on costs
- Meets the company’s standards for quality; reliability, and overall performance of subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensures that materials are purchased at the best prices as well as, for the most qualified trade contractors
- Develops and maintains a base of qualified trade contractors and suppliers
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Recruits, selects, and maintains a base of qualified, superior and motivated Trade Partners and suppliers with mutually beneficial relationships
- Negotiates prices, terms, and rebates with suppliers, manufacturers, and Trade Partners,
- Negotiates and contracts best pricing for the longest period as possible
- Assists in maintaining accurate standard specifications and scopes of work for each cost type

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
