Overview of the Position:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of financial performance of the division against historical, budgeted, and forecasted results to facilitate decision-making toward maximizing performance to the budget and strategic plan. The position will be a business partner to all business leaders of the organization. Position will also likely play a role in acquisitions and integrations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Key participant in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Lead real-time financial performance monitoring, creating variance analysis reports that escalate any financial issues to management; recommend strategies for increasing financial performance
- Organize data into accessible reports and perform various types of analysis using key metrics
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives and develop financial models to understand and drive financial performance
- Maintain data integrity within financial reporting tool by monitoring account mapping and calculations
- Complete market research and comparable company analysis
- Prepare detailed daily and monthly financial reports for key business partners and support Management Team and Department heads with in-depth analysis to understand and drive performance
- Collaborate with senior members of the accounting and finance teams

Education / Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related; Two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
