Wenger Corporation is seeking a Performing Arts Installation Supervisor to oversee both internal and external resources to achieve maximum customer satisfaction with the transportation, installation, and application of Wenger products.
At a minimum, youll need:
- Associates degree
- Five (5) years experience safely installing and troubleshooting in construction trades
- Five (5) years experience reviewing blueprints/drawings
- Proven strong mechanical skills, carpentry and/or rigging skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel) and Bluebeam
It would also be great if you have:
- A Bachelors degree
- OSHA30 certification
- ETCP certification
- Previous experience working with general contractors on construction sites
- Knowledge of performing arts industry
As an Installation Supervisor, a typical day might include:
- Training, developing, and managing Wenger Installers for installation of Wenger offered products
- Writing and delivering mid-year and year end reviews of installation team
- Supervising Installation team members to meet department metrics and goals
- Managing installer spending and monthly approval of spending
- Approving and confirming the accuracy of weekly installer hours
- Partnering with internal and external teams to communicate timing, execution, and issues on projects
- Coordinating with Installation Admin team to schedule appropriate labor for the installation of Wenger products
- Coordinating with team to ensure all job tools and equipment are delivered to site for install
- Providing clear and concise correspondence all site visits with recommendations to resolve customer problems and prevent the reoccurrence on future projects
- Travelling as required to construction or installation sites
- Managing project installation budgets and variance documentation
- Reviewing drawings, and specifications for quoting and install ability and providing feedback to the stakeholders
- Evaluating job site issues to determine root cause and developing efforts to address, resolve, and train to avoid on-going issues
- Participating in weekly Product and Project Team meetings as appropriate
- Providing input into Field Measurement process and output from team
- Assisting Project Managers in development of installation project schedules and helping with the coordination of GC and other trades
- Supporting the team to maintain a Safe installation environment that follows Wenger and site safety protocol including forms, site training, and OSHA requirements
- Performing administrative duties such as accident reports, and other similar duties to enhance employee and business growth.
- Developing installation means and methods and site-specific programs in accordance with OSHA regulations and product guidelines
- Assisting in resolving construction problems as required (missing parts, drawing errors with PM)
- Maintaining Quality Control for product deliverables
- Testing for and holding state contractors licenses where required
