Wentworth Gallery, the leading fine art retailer in the United States, is seeking a Senior Sales Associate to become an integral part of our sales team at our gallery located inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, in Hollywood (Fort Lauderdale), Florida.
Compensation:
- BASE SALARY OF $33,280 PLUS A GENEROUS COMMISSION PLAN
- EARNING POTENTIAL TO $60,000 PER YEAR
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and identify customer needs
- Explain products and services to customers
- Monitor inventory to ensure artworks are in stock
- Enter and process customer orders
- Investigate and resolve customer inquiries
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year fine art or other luxury goods retail sales experience
- High school diploma required. Associate degree a plus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule; typical retail hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays
- Positive, outgoing and a team-player attitude
- Ability to lift artworks up to 40 pounds
