Position Summary
Responsible for plant wide training compliance. Manages the training function using the training module in SAP. Ensures the data is maintained accurately to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements associated with training. Drives the development and use of department lesson plans.
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities:
- Maintains control of master data in training module for Orangeburg
- Works to standardize training programs across the site
- Creates classes needed as requested by managers and supervisor
- Creates and maintains training Groups, to include employees and training requirements
- Coordinates with Departmental leaders to ensure Training Groups are aligned with departmental needs
- Maintain all record keeping and documentation associated with the training efforts to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory agencies
- Periodically reviews database to ensure integrity
- Collaborates with QA on audit issues related to training compliance within different Groups and Departments
- Using reports and other tools, work with managers and supervisors to ensure training is completed on a timely basis
- Works with IT and users to enhance the training module utility and features
- Provides reports and other tools to users to facilitate compliance with training requirements
- Primarily responsible for the development, upkeep, and implementation of lessons plans for department training.
- Provides new hire orientation training.
- Reviews and signs off on change orders as needed to ensure compliance with training requirements.
- Creates training sessions as needed
- Oversee and manage personnel ID Badge system
- Manage electronic training system including annual training
- Other duties as assigned

Skills & Capabilities:
- Excellent Microsoft office skills
- Ability to create presentations in Microsoft Powerpoint
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Detail oriented, strong writing skills and the ability to develop training materials
Qualifications
Min Knowledge & Experience required for the position:
- 1-3 years of exposure to training a plus
- BA. in Business or manufacturing equivalent experience
- Knowledge of integrated business systems (SAP preferred)
