Summary
Responsible and accountable for directing and administering a group of 10 or more Banking Centers to achieve profit, growth, and customer service objectives through the development of deposits, assets, and fee based services. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, directing work, and evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Participates in formulating short-term and long-term goals and objectives in accordance with the Bank's plan. Direct and coordinate activities of the banking centers to obtain those goals and objectives.
Evaluates performance on a constant basis providing counseling and guidance as needed. Annually prepare formal written performance appraisals in an honest and impartial manner recommending salary increases and promotions as appropriate.
Resolves personnel problems while working with human resources personnel to ensure resolution within established procedures and guidelines.
Promotes sales culture and ensures that the staff receives proper training to demonstrate abilities to sell, cross-sell, and reach your/their own individual/team sales goals.
Coordinates the activities of the banking center with other departments of the Bank. Work as the sales liaison with other lines of business and subsidiaries such as WesBanco Mortgage, WesBanco Securities, and WesBanco Insurance in order to accomplish market and regional goals.
Participates with appropriate management personnel in the establishment of an effective marketing program for each banking center.
Evaluates potential prospects in the region and implement various programs across all lines of business to accomplish desired profit plan goals.
Studies reports and statistics to analyze individual banking center performance and detect trends, evaluate operations and services to determine their adequacy and develop recommendations for change as appropriate.
Reviews and evaluates regular reports of branch activities including staffing, loans, deposits, overdrafts, charge-offs, and audits to meet market/regional profit and performance objectives.
Works with Regional Operations Specialist to ensure that all banking center managers consistently and uniformly apply bank policies and standard operating procedures.
Identifies questionable actions, operational inefficiencies, and problems and follow through with resolutions.
Ensures physical property and equipment is adequate and in proper working order and delegate work as needed. Assist the President in determining the physical franchise is up to date in the market from a competitive standpoint.
Conducts meetings and maintains a high level of communication within the region.
Supervises and coordinates the preparation of the annual budget for the banking centers, administer allotted funds in accordance with the budget and approved fiscal procedures, recommend capital expenditures for planning and bank development.
Has extensive contact with customers, the public and the community, and is expected to conduct relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall marketing efforts of the Bank.

Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Sales/Marketing preferred.
Six or more years of Retail Banking Experience.
Prior work experience in teller operations, supervision, and the bank retail services required.
Prior sales and sales leadership experience desired.
