Accountability and Scope
The Q.A. Document Inspector I is accountable for producing a clean scan of all documentation submitted by various departments and to validate and release the scanned information into the database system. The QA Document Inspector I will receive documentation to scan, de-assemble, review the documents for the ability to produce a clean scan, scan into Wesco scanning system, validate, release the scanned information into the company database, then reassemble the documentation, file and prepare for file storage, in accordance with the Wesco Scanning Administration Work Instructions.

General communication is with the department supervisor, co-workers and inter-company personnel to coordinate priority and scanning requirements; the job holder must have ability to communicate clearly and in a concise manner with all levels of the company, as necessary to receive scanning instructions
Supervision and instructions given for routine work and detailed instructions given for new, significant activities or special assignments; must have the ability and willingness to accept and successfully fulfill any scanning related assignments designated by management, as required

Ability to fully comprehend and avoid the impact of making erroneous decisions or recommendations or failure to complete assignments, resulting in serious delays to customers’ schedules, resources and potential financial losses Ability to obtain a good working understanding of industry documents, scanning processes, data management systems and comprehension and application of Wesco Scanning Work Instructions
Ability to perform basic math functions and proficient use of a calculator.
Ability to compare and verify in detail and recognize errors in document types, to rectify documents that are unable to be scanned as originals, to have knowledge and recognize missing information or necessary attachments per document type, and/or the need to request supervisor assistance for resolution.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to find the best and reasonable solutions to work through problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations.
Ability to utilize the internal systems and resources is a critical aspect of accessing necessary information and communicating. Systems include Wesco scanning systems, Wesco U.S. Intra-net system, database systems, email, and the use of printers, copiers, and in-house telephone systems
Ability to read, write and speak concisely in English.

Education, Experience and Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to be detailed oriented and perform basic research, if required
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work closely and well with others
Ability to be trained in the essential duties of the job, with accuracy
Must be computer literate and maintain ability to learn and gain knowledge of the integrated database systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word and Excel, as needed
