What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager - Portfolio position at Wesco?
The Portfolio Manager directly supports the Strategy Realization Office (SRO) by ensuring effective governance of the entire Enterprise project/product portfolio. The Portfolio Manager is a key resource in ensuring the portfolio is aligned with the business objectives, prioritized, resourced, governed, and the performance analyzed and communicated. In addition, the Portfolio Manager will ensure the cross-functional dependencies between projects and products efforts are connected and coordinated.

Responsible for overseeing the approval, planning, prioritization, development, and implementation of enterprise project and product efforts

Responsible for developing, establishing, and standardized project management methodologies and procedures

Responsible for enabling projects/products to achieve a return on investment and meeting the goals and objectives of the organization

Responsible for developing and maintaining the enterprise project and product governance processes and standards to enable effective portfolio management

Responsible for establishing a comprehensive internal audit program aligned with the required SOX Controls
