Warehouse Manager
The successful person for this position will provide exceptional customer service and leadership focused on procurement, management, and control of warehouse items used in manufacturing. They will be a problem solver and maintain an environment of continuous improvement while championing cost saving initiatives.
Functions:
- Provides effective leadership and communication with warehouse team and customer.
- Coordinates procurement and inventory control management of warehouse items.
- Performs inventory transactions for receiving, put away, stocking, picking, returns, shipping and cycle counts. Creates and maintains accurate inventory item databases.
- Utilizes metrics to monitor effectiveness and prepares reports and presentations pertaining to costs, sales, performance, service, quality, and improvements.
- Develops plans for continuous improvement and identifies opportunities for expanded services.
- Performs root cause analysis and implements solutions to problems. Creates written process work standards to support various systems.
- Utilizes and applies lean manufacturing techniques and 5S tools.
- Promotes safe work environment and team training and development.
Skills:
- Solid leadership, organizational, multitasking, problem solving and communication skills.
- Exceptional skills building supplier relationships and creating customer engagement.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of inventory control software such as Oracle or SAP or Other.
- Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage schedules.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience leading teams in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Education:
- High School Degree or equivalent required
- Associates or College degree preferred

- This is a daily on-site position
