Our dining program is designed to deliver an innovative experience for our residents by responsibly creating nourishing and appealing meals using fresh, high quality ingredients and exceptional service.
As a Barista at Wesley Enhanced Living, you will have the opportunity to get to know and build relationships with our residents. You will learn about their preferences when it comes to food and be able to make recommendations of new items they may want to try. You will work in our Bistro area where you will serve food and beverage items while creating a positive environment for our residents and guests.
Responsibilities
The Barista is responsible to make a compelling difference in the lives of our residents through providing excellence and innovation in aging services. The Barista will ensure a positive dining experience for residents and employees in the Bistro Café. The Barista serves drinks, prepares food items, and performs cashier duties.
Barista essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintains the highest customer service and quality standards
- Prepares and serves specialty tea and coffees
- Responsible for lite food prep, heating and reheating of sandwiches and snacks
- Process Resident and Employee meal transactions, ensuring that all transactions are properly charged
- Keeps Bistro Dining area clean, including tables, chairs and drink station
- Makes sure the bistro is fully stocked
- May serve alcoholic beverages
Qualifications
Related Experience: 1-2 years of food service and/or customer service experience
Education or Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED Required
Licenses, Certifications Registrations: ServSafe and RAMP to be completed within 30 days of hire
