We are seeking a Data Analyst for the Department of Justice (DOJ), Executive Office of the United States Attorneys (EOUSA). The Executive Office for United States Attorneys’ (EOUSA) mission is to provide general executive assistance and direction, policy development, administrative management direction and oversight, operational support, and liaison services for the 94 United States Attorneys’ Offices (USAOs). As part of this mission, EOUSA provides financial litigation guidance and services to the USAOs. EOUSA is the lead component of the Department of Justice (DOJ) for issues relating to financial litigation and the enforcement of criminal debt. Your role as Data Analyst for EOUSA will be to support the FLPs by providing a wide variety of clerical and administrative assistance.

Responsibilities
- Review incoming material and create routine and complex debt records
- Enter data into database for cases such as special assessment, fines, restitution, and joint and several debts
- Perform on-line data searches to retrieve documentation and analyze data from multiple sources
- Compile case-related information to ensure a complete debt record in the database.
- Submit the completed case information to the appropriate district’s FLP
- Conduct quality control review of team members’ work to ensure data accuracy in the database
- Research and post payments to ensure timely posting to debts in the database
- Review reports to identify expired debts to be closed in the database according to established procedures
- Enter event codes associated with enforcement actions into the database to reflect accurate accomplishments
- Generate documents that do not require legal interpretation but consider the case’s nature and status
- Create and manipulate spreadsheets to track assignments or review and analyze management reports
- Work with Office of Legal Programs management, Government officials, and/or delinquent judgment debtors
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Possess a high school diploma, four-year undergraduate degree is preferred,
- Along with diploma, a minimum of one (1) year of data entry work experience
- Attention to detail and quality control techniques to ensure accuracy
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
- Proficient in accessing, learning, and maintaining various databases and on-line resource search engines
- Can Operate personal computers, photocopiers, telephone systems, and scanners
- Can edit, reformat, and generate documents using MS Word and other document generation software
