Youth Program Manager
Job Overview:
The Girls Youth Program Manager’s objective is to be a Christ-like example and mentor for the youth of West Boulevard while developing and leading WBM’s programs aimed at developing spiritual maturity, character, and academic success.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Live out WBM mission in attitude and actions with Christ-like character at all times
- Lead and develop WBM girls youth program
- Creating and executing curriculum/ speaker lineups, recruiting and training mentors, and developing fruitful relationships with girls’ parents
- Organizing safety and transportation to and from events
- Build and deepen relationships with neighborhood partners who are similarly advocating for the corridor’s youth
- Establish regular communication rhythms with youth’s teachers and parents, assisting with education development and academic accountability
- Be able to both lead and assist the Executive Director with WBM community events
- Foster partnerships with apprentice programs and other career development organizations
- Create new ways to expand the reach and the lasting impact on youth in the corridor in a way that equips them to be leaders in society and joyful heralds of the gospel of Jesus Christ
- Assist with security and cleanliness of Gracie’s House, ministry van, and other ministry sites
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- A self-starter who can independently carry out the vision cast by WBM leadership
- Strong and regular communicator (includes verbal and written communication skills)
- Position will require work outside of traditional work hours (includes 2 evenings and some Saturdays)
- Exemplify virtues such as leadership, humility, drive, integrity, love, grit and discipline
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years working with inner-city youth in a leadership capacity
- Bachelor’s degree
Additional role information:
- Position reports directly to the Executive Director
- Employee must have a driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record
- 20 hours/ week (includes two evenings)
- Salaried position with PTO

Pay: From $22,500.00 per year
