Summary
The Physical Therapist / PT is responsible for evaluation and treatment of inpatients and outpatients upon referral from a physician. The Physical Therapist / PT develops a plan of care for each patient referred and is responsible for its implementation and modification as necessary in accordance with the hospital’s policies and procedures relative to care and treatment of patients.
Qualifications
Education
Minimum: Experience and education must be any combination recognized by the state of Florida for license as a Physical Therapist / PT
Preferred: Masters in Physical Therapy, Bachelor in Physical Therapy or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
Experience
Preferred: One year experience in an acute care hospital as a Physical Therapist / PT. Some Outpatient. Some weekends.
Other Qualifications
Current Florida Physical Therapist License
Current American Heart Association BLS card
