Counselor - Wood Middle School
The start date for this position is the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year.

Position Description:
The school counselor works directly with students, strategizes with teams so students are academically and socially successful, plans with the school leadership team for staff development, and communicates with parents. The counselor will collaborate with staff to implement academic and social support systems that engage and ensure success for all students; focus on counseling that is integrated with learning and character education that promotes a growth mindset and academic progress.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of best practices in counseling;
- Masters Degree preferred;
- Oregon teaching license in assigned area(s) and proper endorsements
