West Shore Home is looking to double in size by the end of 2021! Our Finance Department has an immediate opening for a financial professional looking for a new challenge, ready to up their skillset, and is looking to assist with the continued growth of our company by taking their career to the next level!
As the Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for performing various finance and accounting tasks, including account reconciliations.
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Accounting Analysts:
- Help develop improved inventory management policies and procedures
- Monitor and maintain inventory, ensuring data is entered and accurate
- Measure inventory transaction integrity and/or accuracy while providing feedback to the Operations and Procurement
- Conduct detailed inventory audits in conjunction with Warehouse Managers and Inventory Manager
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies and notify the appropriate parties
- Establish clear KPIs and reporting around financial inventory management
- Participate in closing accounting books monthly; perform applicable journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations
Accounting Analyst Candidates:
- Have strong knowledge of inventory management procedures including transfers, costing and physical inventory reconciliations
- Have experience working with Microsoft Excel and are detail-oriented
- Are comfortable in a fast pace and dynamic office environment
