What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Generalist position at West Shore Home?
As our nationwide growth accelerates, our Human Resources team plays a key role in driving forward our mission of Bringing Happiness to Every Home™ by providing guidance and support to equip our teams for success and manage the employee life cycle.
As an HR Generalist at West Shore Home®, you will contribute to this mission by taking ownership of specified regions and providing continuous support across several HR functions. You will report directly to your region's HR Business Partner and work closely with the rest of the HR team.
What You’ll Contribute
In this role, you can expect to:
- Manage employee driver insurability, including quarterly audits
- Control the payroll spreadsheet by accurately notating all compensation details for employees within your region
- Keep HRIS up-to-date with proper documentation of employee transfers, promotions, terminations and other status changes
- Audit and analyze manager compliance with performance reviews by processing monthly compliance reports
- Support the Workers' Compensation program by assisting with accident reporting, attending Safety Committee meetings, and running the annual OSHA 300A log
