Overview
Responsible for performing receptionist and clerical duties for the Director of Clinical Services to achieve unit coordination and organization. Must know keyboard, medical terminology helpful. Employee is subject to call back and overtime as required by the hospital.
Responsibilities
Acts as receptionist for the Director, provides information and assistance for all hospital personnel, physicians, patients, vendors, and the general public.
Assist the Director in the compilation of monthly statistical and financial reports.
Places and receives telephone calls for Director, provides information and assistance, takes messages, and refers callers to appropriate person.
Places requisitions, supply orders and work orders as needed to restock inventory min/max or as requested by Director.
Types, distributes and files memos, correspondence, reports, and other material for director’s files. Coordinates the typing and distribution of correspondence and reports as directed by the Director.
Inputs and makes corrections in ANSOS in regard to staff schedules as directed by the Director.
Attends staff meetings as requested by Director.
Participates actively in designated staff meetings. Takes minutes as requested. Compiles, types, and distributes minutes.
Provides mail delivery for each unit daily from the mailroom.
Contribute to a positive work climate and the overall team effort of the department and hospital, perform related responsibilities as required or directed and greet guest in accordance to our Guest Excellence principles.

Skills in communication, organization, math, office procedures, filing procedures, format of office correspondence data processing, as normally acquired through 1-2 years of secretarial and computer experience.
