Under limited supervision will coordinate the delivery of Provider Services to Intellectually Developmental Disabled individuals within a designated service area. Is responsible for the hiring, training, ongoing supervision, and scheduling of the provider staff. Services include: Employment Assistance, Individualized Competitive Employment/Supported Employment, Community Supports/ Supported Home Living, Respite, and Residential Services for Intellectual Developmentally Disabled individuals. Will participate in Service Planning/IDT meetings, develop implementation plans, and monitor service delivery and utilization. Responsible to ensure that services are delivered in compliance with the applicable funding requirements (General Revenue, HCS, TxHML) May be required to work flexible hours and work direct care as needed. May be required to use personal vehicle to perform job duties. Will report to IDD Area Supervisor.
- Must be able to understand and comply with all applicable Texas Administrative Codes, and WTC policies and procedures
- Ability to work in accordance with HHCS standards

- Safety rules and regulations
- Proper lifting techniques (up to 75 lbs.)

- Able to recognize precursors to problem behaviors and/or illness
- Complete tasks delegated by RN
- Self-administration of medication
- Vital signs
- High School Diploma, GED or 3 letters of reference from non-family members and a WTC competency test.
- Must have a valid Texas Driver License and a driving record that is acceptable for insurability through WTC insurance carrier
- Must pass background check and drug screening
