West Texas Gas, WTG, seeking for a Health, Safety, Environmental Manager to support the operations team across all Downstream Utility assets. The HSE Manager will play a key role in leading and maintaining overall HSE program oversight and regulatory compliance of the downstream assets.
Functional Responsibilities
Implement, execute, ensure compliance with WTG Health, Safety and Environmental programs- Lead HSE incident investigation process, including root cause analysis and identification of corrective action plans.
- Serve as the primary WTG representative with the appropriated regulatory agency (OSHA, EPA, State/Local Regulators)
- Conduct safety/environmental training
- Promote WTG at company/industry sponsored programs.
- Develop and implement HSE compliance programs as needed
- Track and communicate HSE performance
- Oversee HSE compliance reporting obligations
- Reports to Director of Compliance
- Office Midland TX and/or Amarillo TX
- Travel ~40-50%
- Company vehicle provided
- Bachelor’s degree in HSE or related field preferred. Will consider direct experience in lieu of degree.
- 2 years of experience in the natural gas pipeline industry, working knowledge of federal and state Health & Safety regulations a must.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Technical review & editing skills
- Organized, analytical and have strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
