Care concierge duties involve taking care of cleaning up the rooms, making beds, changing sheets, passing fluids, passing meal trays, and possibly help feeding. The qualifications needed for a career as Care concierge include a high school diploma or GED certificate. You may also have to pass a competency test given by potential employers. Experience working with the elderly and interpersonal skills are crucial for this career.
Care concierge do not work directly with patients and instead perform more administrative tasks. These positions typically have lower requirements for entry. Previous experience in a Care concierge or nursing role can help you stand from other aides. Fulfilling the responsibilities and duties of a Care concierge requires physical fitness, communication skills, and the ability to remember and follow directions from nurses and other caregivers. On the job training provided. No experience required!
The hours needed to help on the floor during our busy times would be 7a-10a, 11a-2p, 4p-7p.
