Real Estate Associate - DOA - Real Estate - Kanawha

Department of Administration (DOA)/ Real Estate Division/ Kanawha County - Under close supervision, performs entry-level professional work, assisting higher-level staff on real property acquisitions and disposition, including the gathering of documents, data, lease negotiations, property management issues, and gathering various information, taking photos of real property, research property and transactions via direct contact with property owners, state agencies, statewide site visits, courthouse records, market data, etc.  Drafting of lease contracts, addenda, letters, memorandums, and other various documents.  Processing and tracking the lease transaction by entering lease data into a web-based lease portfolio software program and running various lease reports.  Assist in routine office administrative duties such as, answering phones, making copies, preparing, sorting, and distributing mail, and other related work as required.   Microsoft Office of Google Office products, communication, and organization skills required.  Statewide travel may be required.
