What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at Westaff?
Commercial construction company in Wichita, KS is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator to add to their team. The Project Manager will work directly with the owner, architects and subcontractors. Candidate shall have knowledge of commercial building projects. Duties will include assisting in estimating, project financial oversight, project documentation, coordination/scheduling of work, interacting with project owners and designers.
Remote work opportunity with travel to the Midwest States including - Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Iowa, South Dakota. Mileage/Travel Per Diem Hotels covered by company - no waiting times
Responsibilities
- Develop, schedule and lead project close-out processes
- Coordinate with Project Superintendent in development of a project site logistics plan
- Handle the pay request process
- Monitor project cost reports
- Forecast project projection reports
- Help monitor project labor
- Assist Estimating of projects
- Lead the project's quality process
- Develop, schedule and lead project close-out processes
- Assist in managing subcontractors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Sciences, Construction Management preferred
- 3 years experience in related field
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
