What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Training & Quality Assurance position at Westchester Jewish Community Services?
Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is currently searching for a Director of Training and Quality Services to work out of our Headquarters located in White Plains, NY. The Director of Training and Quality Assurance will be responsible for coordinating, overseeing, and facilitating all aspects of quality assurance and improvement within the Community Programs division including, but not limited to, compliance with OPWDD, DOH, and HUD regulations, incident management, staff training, internal and external audits including corrective actions, Human Rights process, and HUD contract renewals and certifications.
Responsibilities include:
- Assumes responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Compliance and QI programs.
- Provides guidance to agency staff regarding Compliance P & P and governmental laws, rules, and regulations including assisting leadership staff in performing internal audits.
- Monitors and follow-ups on all Compliance Helpline calls and compliance inquiries from all sources from within and outside the agency.
- Chairs the Staff Compliance and QI Committees and serves as the agency liaison to and is a member of the BOD Compliance Committee.
- Coordinates internal investigations of suspected compliance issues and to act on any identified issues related to compliance.
- Conducts, evaluates, and coordinates recipient satisfaction surveys (internal and NYSOMH), and is responsible for reviewing and approving the handling of all agency complaints.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
- At a minimum, a BA/BS in business or health related field
