We are searching for faculty and staff who are:

Westcliff University is seeking a full time Executive Assistant candidate. This person will assist with the day to day administration operations for the Executive Director of the university. This position will perform highly sensitive and confidential executive-level support work requiring attention to detail, organization, and understanding the functions of each department at the university.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Coordinate and schedule meetings including reviewing meeting requests, resolving scheduling conflicts, and establishing appointment priorities

· Assist with taking phone calls for the Executive Director and determine appropriate course of action for calls

· Prepare and/or edit written communications, memos, letters, presentations, spreadsheets, and reports, many with highly sensitive confidential information

· Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

· Proficient with Microsoft Office software and Google Suite, a plus

· Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

· Organized and detail oriented

· Ability to work independently on assigned tasks

· Ability to work with a great deal of autonomy and independence with minimal supervision

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality

Education &Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in administration or related field preferred

· 1-3 years of experience working in an administrative role in an office setting

· Prior experience working in higher education a plus
