WFP Engineered Products is looking to hire Production Laborers at our Calvert Division locatedin Washougal, WA. We are expanding and have multiple positions available!
Shifts: Monday-Friday (occasional Saturdays) - day shifts (6:00am - 3:30pm) and swing shifts (2:30pm – 11:00pm) available.

Successful candidates will be subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing as well as background checks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
New employees start in one of the following positions based on experience and current vacancies. Opportunities for further training and advancement into different roles in the operations are available after proven performance, attendance and the right attitude!
Glulam Production Laborers:
- Apply glue to boards and move boards through the production line;
- Lock up the beams with an air impact gun once glued;
- Support other areas of the operations as needed; and
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and continuously be on your feet 90% of the time.
Finish Laborers:
- Correct and trim beams to customers’ requests;
- Make sure the beams are in the correct size / both length and width;
- Edge beams with router;
- Apply filler and scrape or sand as required;
- Apply sealer and wrap as required;
- Ensure correct customer beam identifications;
- Make sure job numbers are clearly marked on end of beams;
- Band beams if needed;
- Work with Finish Lead to inspect beams to ensure the following:
- Proper customer identification and stamps per APA requirements are placed on beams;
- Meets APA appearance;
- Push finished beams outside;
- Move finished beams with forklift to storage bunks in yard (when forklift certified); and
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS
- Labor experience is an asset but not required;
- Reliable, steady work history, includes a good attendance record;
- Must have the ability to follow standard safety procedures;
- Positive attitude, ready to learn and a safety mindset;
- Basic math skills and effectively read, write and communicate in English;
- Must be able to work in moderate to warm environment; and
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and regular random drug tests.
