Description
Responsible for assisting the successful coordination and implementation of arrangements and details for all Food & Beverage catering events thus ensuring that these events run smoothly and according with the client’s contracted specifications and services in the BEO. The Catering Manager assistant is also responsible for ensuring that the customer service expectations and standards of the client, the facility and Western Golf Properties are achieved.
- Execute to agreed sales strategy with Director of Sales, in order to maximize revenue and meet/exceed sales goals.
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
Upon careful review of contract, plans and coordinates the details of Food & Beverage events prior to and throughout the event by disseminating clients’ specifications to departments; keeps departments updated on these specifications; and stays in contact with client throughout this process to ensure that customers’ service satisfaction is achieved.
- Interface with all other departmental managers to assure good communication and a seamless customer service experience.
- Assist in the management, development and coaching of team, aids in the oversight in the absence of the Director in Sales.
- Administrative duties and other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
- Take appointments for tours, bookings, details and all other client’s needs.
Requirements
- Must successfully obtain CA Food Handlers card within the probationary period.
- Demonstrated experience in a customer service-orientated environment, meeting and exceeding client expectations and achieving sustained satisfaction.
- Keen ability to focus attention to detail.
- Computer literate with proficiency in use of spreadsheets and word processing software.
