The ideal candidate will have a background in residential fittings and welds, from light fixtures to duct work, and will be willing to work on-site as well as in-house to complete jobs for customers on time and on budget.

Must read blueprints and perform shop math to layout, fabricate and weld various parts and assemblies Must be able to weld all types of metals, set and maintain welding machine (tip, liner changes, etc.
and weld vertical, horizontal and overhead Perform all MIG and TIG welding procedures (all positions), including machine settings and necessary fittings.
Field install welds, including duct work, light fixtures, vents, fans, metal sheeting and other parts Select proper fillers for jobs based on previous experience or project instructions Welding of mild steel and aluminum where required.
Grind and clean area where required and ability to use grinder, sander, rivet guns, saws and other air tools Inspect welds for cracks, burn through and weld spatter Conserve resources whenever possible to ensure budgetary integrity and client satisfaction De-bur and grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture Other duties and responsibilities as required Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment can be loud.Must be able to work outside in harsh weather conditions. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand;
walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position involves standing, walking and lifting and moving up to 75 pounds for long periods of time throughout the day.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 5 : 00 a.
m. to 1 : 30 p.m. Overtime and Saturdays may be required at the request of your supervisor. Travel No travel is expected for this position.
