Western Neon specializes in illuminated signage, graphics, wayfinding, architectural elements, public art, and customs solutions for the built environment.

We are looking for a self-directed, hard-working Project Manager Client Services Team Member who will be responsible for the successful outcome of short to long-term projects and be an effective liaison between internal departments and between clients and our company. A successful candidate can communicate clearly with all parties involved including key stakeholders, clients, internal team members, and vendors. This role requires the ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service, teamwork, and attention to detail to ensure client satisfaction. Must be able to deal with conflict while maintaining professionalism and focus on the project goals.

This right candidate will help maintain and grow existing relationships with current clients as well as assist in bringing new clients on board. This candidate will work with the Western Neon team to provide clients with detail-oriented, end-to-end project management. The successful candidate will be a vital part of the Client Services team, owning every step it takes for a client to feel like their finished project is imbued with perfection.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing and managing scope, schedule, and budget for each project.
  • Coordinate internal team members and vendors to meet the deliverables of the project.
  • Provide measurable and timely response to client inquiries, work requests, and concerns.
  • Manage internal invoicing, change orders and vendor quotes and invoices.
  • Communicate directly with clients and internal WN team to define project goals and provide reports on project status.
  • Demonstrate capability to read and understand project documents including but not limited to agreements, contracts, drawings, client work requests, vendor proposals, electrical, data management documents, and building infrastructure documents.
  • Conduct onsite field site visits before, during and after completion of project.
  • Develop and maintain complete knowledge of vendor service and material capabilities, processes, and deliverables.
  • Manages, supports, and participates in team meetings.
  • Track and manage project issues and resolutions.
  • Actively support the internal team that focuses on successful project completion.
  • Represent the company through outstanding project delivery, client service, process improvement and support.
  • Potential to manage a team of at least one Project Engineer.
  • The Project Manager is expected to manage $750,000 in projects in the first year.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3 years' experience in customer service role in sign industry or related field
  • 1 years' experience in management position preferred.
  • 2 years’ experience in project management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business preferred but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; role requires daily communication with client and team members.
  • Requires organization, time management, attention to detail, and prioritization skills through all projects despite workload.
  • Must be able to inspect design plans and documents for accuracy.
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information at various levels demonstrating the ability to build consensus for decision-making.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage projects.
  • Must demonstrate ability to meet deadlines on time and budget.
  • MS software skills required, familiarity with Adobe Suite preferred.
  • Smartsheet experience a bonus.

Job Type: Full Time in shop

Monday - Friday

Pay: $65,000 a year
