Who We're Looking For:
We are searching for a talented, highly motivated leader to join our growing Warehouse Night Operations team. You must thrive in a fast paced, high-energy work environment, which encourages teamwork and collaboration in a multifaceted operational setting. Your duties may encompass functions within receiving product, outbound fulfillment (picking and packing), stocking, merchandising and inventory tasks. The ideal leader would display a can-do attitude, flexibility in work duties, interpersonal and communication skills, and a passion to achieve efficient, high level production goals.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage and lead the night shift team, ensuring a seamless continuation of company policies and work culture present in all day shifts.
- Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing company operational and personnel policies and procedures.
- Works with the Warehouse Manager to ensure continuing compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising Warehouse management on needed actions.
- Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse by inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Assist in achieving financial objectives by ensuring adherence to operational goals and team building.
- Develop and analyze production and operating reports and resolve operational, staffing and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and to prevent operational delays.
- Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
- Provide leadership for and coordinate all activities of the warehouse staff to receive and ship products effectively.
- Maintain warehouse team results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members in a positive, proactive manner, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Manage the daily operational functions on the shift, including planning the shipping/receiving flow, troubleshooting quality issues, handling staffing issues, monitoring customer orders and coordinating training to team members.
- Develop and revise standard operational and working practices and observes team members to ensure compliance
Education and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- RF Handheld experience required.
- 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- 5 years of warehouse operations experience preferred.
- Certified to operate forklifts, cherry pickers and swing reach trucks preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $63,000.00 per year
