You will play a critical role within Western Union’s Consumer Protection program by reviewing agents and service providers to assess their exposure for consumer protection related risks. You’ll also review and analyse consumer complaint data to identify consumer protection related trends and issues. You will work both independently and as part of a team of other analysts.
You will need a bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in the financial services industry. Your attention to detail, organization and self-starting are key personality traits that will help you succeed in this position. You will have the ability to communicate concisely and effectively both orally and in writing. You’ll possess solid analytical problem solving and decision-making skills and a strong ability to build cooperative working relationships with internal business partners. Your friendly and positive “can-do” attitude with an enthusiastic willingness to take on new projects and support multiple team functions will be vital to your success as well as your adaptability to changing priorities and ability to effectively handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Experience in compliance including knowledge and understanding of consumer protection laws and regulations as well as trends and issues is preferred.

The annual gross base salary range is $54,875.80-87,800.02. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
