Job Description
Contribute to and enhance the positive, welcoming, lively, and exciting atmosphere of Westgate Resorts Myrtle Beach by maintaining the presence of the resort mascot on the property.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist with greeting at the Welcome Booth and Lobby during daily check-ins.
- Assist with weekend Curbside Greeting.
- Maintain a presence at the Welcome Parties.
- Maintain a presence in the Lobby during Owner BBQ events.
- Maintain a presence at any additional on-property events as needed.
- Interact with families and children on the property.
- Hand out balloons to children during daily check-ins.
- Be available to have pictures taken with Guests.
- Visit other locations of the property including but not limited to the Lobby, Waterpark, Owners', Club House, Arcade, Picnic Area, Welcome Booth, and swimming pools.
- Conform to department training standards.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write and speak English fluently. Additionally, the person must possess and adhere to the following core values:
