GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
Manage all project management processes on low complexity projects or work scopes, and/or supporting specific activities or work tasks of a medium to high complexity projects that deliver solutions to Commercial Nuclear Power Plants in Asia. In this role, you will:
- Lead small teams (average <10 team members) which may include project controls
• Implement sound project management tools and practices - Ensure contractual requirements and met and remains within committed scope
- Support commercial discussions

Duties and Responsibilities
Project planning: Complete all aspects of planning process including support of authoring project plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines.
Project executing, monitoring and controlling: Based on project plan, follow department protocols for acquiring team members as needed to complete the work. Support delivery of all aspects of project including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and stakeholders. Support project manager to Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements, and subsequent changes, to functional groups following an integrated change management process. Coordinate project communications with project manager. Help maintain project databases, systems and procedures to ensure efficient handling and transmission of project correspondence and documentation between project team members.
Project closing: Support program or project manager to properly close project by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems/tools. Support project manager to perform final project quality assessment and report out. Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement, lessons, and risk avoidance for future work.
Develope positive relationships with team, customer, suppliers, Westinghouse in-country representation (for international projects), and other stakeholders to drive project to successful completion.Utilize interpersonal skills to cultivate positive relationships with team, customer, and other stakeholders (e.g. internal management) to facilitate successful project completion.
To support successful project execution, promote continuous improvement within the team: Identify, assess, and implement improvement opportunities which will add value.
Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies:
Education: Bachelor's degree. Applicable disciplines are Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management or related technical discipline.Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing or Business.
Experience: 4 years project management or controls experience or 2 years project management or controls experience and 2 years experience in technical role in nuclear or construction industry. 4-6 years of experience on project team, as project coordinator or support resource, in a technical industry such as engineering, manufacturing, nuclear or construction.
KSA (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities) Familiar with the Project Management Institute's
Project Management Body of Knowledge.

Strong interpersonal skills such as effective verbal and written communications, ability to lead team members, able to develop relationships with internal stakeholders, able to make decisions and carry out multiple tasks as assigned with minimal guidance from supervisory project managers and mentors. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. Knowledge and skill of project scheduling and cost management.
Demonstrated ability or understanding of the transformation of data to information for visual reports; database concepts in order to manage data within systems; the interaction of company functions that are touch points to projects (Finance, Legal, Quality, Supply Chain, etc.).High-quality presentation skills.
Will be expected to complete assigned training in Westinghouse Systems, Procedures, and Policies applicable to assignments. Working technical knowledge of nuclear power plants - specifically I&C. Experience working on Asia international projects.
Certifications Westinghouse Project Manager qualification completed. For external candidate, will complete project manager qualification within designated time period. Exemptions provided based on prior training and work experience. PMI® Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) certification or other equivalent project management certification completed or in progress. Project controls-related certification (scheduling, estimating, earned value, risk, etc.) will be viewed as a plus
Languages: Proficiency in English A second or more foreign language(s) will be viewed as a plus - especially Chinese.
