Job Posting for Director of Children & Family Ministry at Westminster Presbyterian Church

  • Create and lead weekly programs that nurture children’s faith.
  • Recruiting and training volunteers to serve in the children’s ministry.
  • Create avenues for parents of children to be involved in their children’s spiritual growth.
  • Design a message strategy that communicates biblical truths to kids.
  • Oversee the administrative aspects of the children’s ministry and partner with committee members and staff.
  • Oversee Home Group ministry through organizing groups, communicating with leaders and participants, creating content and organizing training events.
  • Support Home Group leaders through training and weekly checkins (while in session).
  • Develop and work alongside staff in creating community purposed events quarterly.
  • Oversee promotion for events.
  • Recruit, equip, and lead volunteers for events and Home Groups.
  • Participate in the life of the church and engage in a team atmosphere with other staff members.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.50 per hour
