Opportunity Summary
The BUSINESS ANALYST will assist the local Customer Service Manager in executing the research and analysis needed to assure that the pricing of our product offerings is consistent with WestRock's strategies.
Major Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with Customer Service and the Sales Team in responding to requests for quotes to our customers.
- Utilizing advanced analytic techniques, work within our established data bases to create accurate analysis and reporting to support the pricing strategy of the local business.
- Partner with the Customer Service Manager and the Business Unit Sales Manager to ensure accuracy of estimates for customers
- Review customer specifications with the sales and design team to ensure accurate and efficient final pricing
- Working with the Customer Service Manager, perform other tasks in support of the Customer Service effort at the Mesquite Plant. This responsibility could include assisting in the management of key accounts
- Partner with Customer Service Representatives to validate and troubleshoot all customer specifications
- Participate in projects that support plant and/or companywide strategic initiatives (e.g. margin enhancement efforts, etc.) by providing critical analytic expertise and insight to inform decisions and recommendations
- What you need to succeed:
· Exceptional analytical skills, especially in the use of Excel and other r data base management .E.D. Some college would be preferred.
· Must have 3 - 5 years of business, customer service or customer-related work experience
· Previous experience in manufacturing industry is preferred
· Prefer college training of some kind. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills to understand requests and problems, inform on status, and negotiate solutions
· Ability to simplify and solve simple to complex issues with focus on root cause and quick solution development
· Demonstrate collaboration and teaming skills across functions to resolve issues and achieve organizational goals
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
