Summary:
The Engineering Technician position aids in processing production orders for release, executing and broadcasting engineering changes to the operations team, performs data entry for Bills of Materials and is a curator of project files.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Uses CAD to review, edit or create simple 3D models.
- Uses AS400 / MAPICS / PowerLink to edit or create indented bills of materials.
- Reconciles bill of material structure and quantities with drawings before release.
- Prepares and organizes project files in both paper and electronic format for production orders as prioritized by the Engineering Technician.
- Assists Engineering Technician with the updating and administration of project progression through the Production Engineering Loop Process.
- Curates and monitors library model files used by our CAD system.
- Assist in assembling and building displays and prototypes as needed.
- Assist in field installations and display setups in some cases (infrequent).
- Assist Engineering Technician with the creation or PAI’s when needed (assembling for photos).
- Assist Engineering Technician with the creation of RAI’s when needed (assembling for photos).
- Other duties as assigned.
Salary : $56,200 - $71,100
