Machine Maintenance Manager
Looking for a highly motivated and highly experienced Maintenance Manager for CNC manufacturing equipment. You will maintain the manufacturing equipment that fabricates the complex components for our large-scale water feature installations.
Your scope of responsibility will be to manage and ensure that our CNC machines, including four and five axis mills, laser cutters, CNC punch presses and press brakes, water jets, computer controlled vacuum form presses, live-tool lathes, and plastic injection molding presses are operating in optimal condition, with regularly scheduled preventive maintenance, performance upgrades, and near a zero down time metric.
Requirements:
- Understanding of and ability to implement a thorough TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) system in accordance with the best Lean Manufacturing practices
- Responsible for troubleshooting, rapidly assess, analyze and resolve complicated problems
- Ability and willingness to get “hands on” in performing maintenance work
- Coordinate in-house maintenance activities with necessary factory visits from equipment manufacturers
- Ability to read process diagrams, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics
- Use Technical Manuals and precision measurement tools
Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in maintaining equipment of the nature and complexity described above, such as complex industrial equipment used in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing motor and motor control, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read complex control system diagrams and instructions both print and web based
- Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical machinery (AC/DC)
- Ability to work OT and weekends as needed
