Description
At WET, our Project Engineers work closely with designers and architects and product engineers to generate construction drawings for water features of all scales. They get involved in the project at the conceptual design stage and support the project throughout the construction and commissioning phase of the projects. As needed, project engineers will perform site visits to support the WET Field Services team on the technical aspects of the project.
Requirements:
- Help support the entire project from conception to completion, including engineering responsibilities and coordination of deliverables
- Assist in presenting projects for formal review at various stages of progress and evaluate comments of others for project impact and adjust accordingly
- Create engineering construction documents utilizing Revit and AutoCAD. (Experience with complex geometrics is helpful)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit,, as well as importing and exporting 3D information
- Knowledge of reading Architectural, MEP and Structural drawings to find particular information
- Coordinate Engineering drawings with drawings from other disciplines (structural, landscape, etc.) in both Revit and AutoCAD
- Knowledge in putting together a construction document set and details
- Provide technical support for field installation and contractor problem resolution
- Experience in Construction Administration tasks such as reviewing shop drawings, submittals and RFIs
Desired Skills & Experience
- Undergraduate or preferably Graduate Degrees in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
- Experience in the design and engineering of facility mechanical systems, including fluency with piping and instrumentation systems and diagrams
- Experience preparing detailed reports and schedules, responding to contractor questions in writing and accurately articulating resolutions
- Electrical and hydraulic knowledge
- Pump sizing expertise
- Proficient in REVIT, AutoCAD / Word, Excel
- Candidates must have strong presentation, verbal and written skills
