Need to be able to analyze incomplete data for congruent effectiveness. Coordinate with WFS personnel, suppliers, pipeline, and utilities to remedy errors discovered in a professional and timely manner, maintaining tenacity until resolved. Quantify and report value to the Client Scorecard as incidents are remedied. This position receives information and direction from the Account Manager/Client. An understanding of the energy contracts and complex energy invoices must be understood and analyzed, especially regarding seasonal differences and penalty structures. This position requires the Client Accountant to understand the industry the client operates within such as municipality, ethanol, schools, industrial etc. and maintain extensive knowledge of the commodity delivery infrastructure. Participate in client on-boarding process with account manager and client, coordinating WFS client structure set-up, client accrual and invoice detail, distribution methods, client characteristics and requirements are complete. Perform WFS Invoicing for physical natural gas and electric transactions as needed. Understand and be able to work within the BEN system to produce client accrual/invoice reports as well as needed back-up support. Bill verifications and needed resolution for all supply, pipeline and utility vender invoices with assigned clients. Preferred Skills/Education/Experience: Ability to communicate in a professional manner (strong verbal and written communications skills) with a focus on providing excellent client experience. 3 years experience in a comparable role Associate's degree in Business (Bachelor degree preferred) Launch financial AR/AP to the Oracle staging area in a timely manner with proper GL coding attached. Take ownership of assigned additional tasks that support the internal and external efficiencies of the Client Accounting department, such as Funds @ Risk, Cost & Usage, Collections, Financial Prepayment Invoicing and Monitoring.
