We are looking for a Project Accounting Specialist with 2-5 years billing experience to join our Finance and Accounting team in our West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Tallahasee, FL, Austin, San Antonio, & Houston, TX office.

Responsibilities
- Process project invoicing (including preparing draft invoices, finalizing and revisions when necessary, and distribution to clients with applicable supporting documentation)
- Open projects in the company's ERP system (verify completeness and compliance with WGI standards and consistency with contract(s) and other project documentation
- Review project data validation reports and make updates to the ERP system when needed
- Partner with Project Managers on project accounting questions and issues (including project variances, budget questions, time/expense transfers, unbilled revenue, comments on prebilled and/or aged unbilled)
- Maintain business compliance and assist with optimization of processes by collaborating with team members to integrate technology and other resources
- Assist with month-end closing and revenue recognition
- Assist clients with inquiries (invoicing questions, Certificate of Insurance requests, and other billing related documents)
- Prepare sub-consultant agreements using WGI templates and standards
- Review sub-consultant invoices for compliance and completeness prior to PM approval
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma or GED required
- 2-5 years of billing experience preferred in engineering, construction, or professional services industry
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to organize and multi-task
- Strong analytical skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to build and keep strong relationships
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve high-quality work products
- Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of Deltek Vision a plus
- Working knowledge of CITS (and other client processing sites) a plus
