Responsibilities

  • Support the gathering and assembling of data for project schedules, revenue and staffing
  • Assist Project Managers with updating the project planning and scheduling system
  • Regularly review the system to ensure updates are made timely
  • Attend departmental meetings to identify events and issues which impact project schedules, revenue and staffing
  • Attend PM meetings as assigned to gather information, update project data or understand project issues
  • Update, produce and review recurring scheduling and staffing reports as directed
  • Work with Project Managers to coordinate the production of audit packages and Automated Fee Proposals (AFP’s) as contracts are awarded by FDOT
  • Direct and coordinate sub-consultants regarding package submittals and FDOT deadlines
  • Ensure accuracy of procedures and forms as necessary via FDOT’s website
  • Assist with FDOT negotiations of job classifications and rates as needed with an understanding of overhead, FCCM and direct expense rates
  • Understand and propose Operating Margins for submittals as required by FDOT.
  • Perform other related duties, including project accounting as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree In Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills a must
  • Previous experience in a professional services industry with hourly billing a plus
  • Knowledge of project planning/scheduling software and accounting software a plus
  • Ability to multi-task
