Responsibilities
- Support the gathering and assembling of data for project schedules, revenue and staffing
- Assist Project Managers with updating the project planning and scheduling system
- Regularly review the system to ensure updates are made timely
- Attend departmental meetings to identify events and issues which impact project schedules, revenue and staffing
- Attend PM meetings as assigned to gather information, update project data or understand project issues
- Update, produce and review recurring scheduling and staffing reports as directed
- Work with Project Managers to coordinate the production of audit packages and Automated Fee Proposals (AFP’s) as contracts are awarded by FDOT
- Direct and coordinate sub-consultants regarding package submittals and FDOT deadlines
- Ensure accuracy of procedures and forms as necessary via FDOT’s website
- Assist with FDOT negotiations of job classifications and rates as needed with an understanding of overhead, FCCM and direct expense rates
- Understand and propose Operating Margins for submittals as required by FDOT.
- Perform other related duties, including project accounting as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree In Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills a must
- Previous experience in a professional services industry with hourly billing a plus
- Knowledge of project planning/scheduling software and accounting software a plus
- Ability to multi-task
