MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. CPR and First Aid certification within 2 months of employment with emphasis on infant and child.
EXPERIENCE:
1. 1 year experience in a child care setting.

1. Provides excellent customer service to patients, visitors, families and co-workers and supports the hospital mission and vision.
2. Maintains control of a group of children between the ages of 6 months to 13 years, numbering no greater than 15 per staff.
3. Enforces all policies and procedure with parents and children of the child care area.
4. Knowledgeable of and able to apply positive reinforcement techniques and verbal discipline techniques.
5. Demonstrates self-control with difficult children.
6. Establishes age appropriate activities.
7. Places customer service as the highest priority.
8. Effectively follows all hospital policies and procedures.
9. Meets expectations in regards to regular attendance and punctuality when scheduled to work.
10. Performs all other duties as assigned.
