Job Summary
Responsible for various duties to ensure day-to-day facility maintenance operations and ensure overall facility functionality.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Provides operational facility support as assigned by manager and onsite condition. Serves as primary point of contact for all issues related to facility operations and usage.
- Performs work related to the routing, sorting, receiving, sending, and general administration of all mail and internal and external message traffic.
- Provides oversight of building repairs maintenance and service providers.
- Administers security badges, issues keys and maintains key databases and inventories. Provides general assistance in maintaining office and gym equipment, conference rooms and cafeteria. Monitors inventory and orders supplies for facility common areas.
- Responds to and resolves minor building emergencies (overflows, spills, hazards, etc.).
- Conducts space planning, monitors building capacity, and creates and distributes maps and reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Nature and Scope
- Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.
- Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.

Work Environment
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment that may be heavy (50 pounds) or awkward.
- No travel required.
Education and Experience
- HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
