Full time, year round, salary plus commission position in the Group Sales Department.
Report to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
Responsible for the daily operation of the Group Sales Department including staff management, payroll, annual reviews, staff training and coaching, pricing, contracting and execution of group sales functions while on property.
Group Sales consists of motorcoach & FIT group travel, corporate meetings and events, weddings, social events, ski and golf groups.
Office hours are typically Monday though Friday, however nights and weekends are required to execute group functions and events as needed.
Candidate requires managerial experience in an office setting, proven sales experience and hotel and/or hospitality experience.
2 - 5 years of proven sales and hospitality experience are required.
High School Graduate required and some college or industry education preferred.
Industry experience and Sales experience required.
