What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Clinic LPN position at Whitecap Search?
WCS Healthcare is working with the largest community health care clinic who is looking to hire multiple full time LPNs for their Spring Valley, NY location.
The clinic specializes in Women's Health, Optometry, Pediatrics, Urgent Care and Primary Care. This is a full time Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:30pm role with no weekends!
Job Function:
- Interviews and maintains patient’s medical record to include: nursing observation; health history to include past and present use of medication; vital signs; vision/hearing tests; medications and treatments given
- Perform in-house labs, collect specimens for out-side labs perform quality control in accordance with organizational protocols
- Does health teaching as indicated by physician, diagnosis and/or inquires by patient
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma/ GED Preferred
- Vocational/ Technical School/ Diploma Program
- Nursing Minimum Work Related Experience: 0-1 year Preferred Work Related
- Valid New York State LPN
- License CPR Certification
