Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

Position Overview
Whole House Cabinetry is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cabinet Installer to join our team. As the Lead Cabinet Installer, you will be involved in the process of installing custom cabinetry for our residential and commercial projects. We are a rapidly growing, family owned, custom cabinetry shop based out of Rosemount, MN that builds, finishes, and installs high-quality, handcrafted, custom cabinets for homes across all of Minnesota and for commercial buildings across the Midwest. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing on-site operations.
- Install custom cabinetry according to specifications, design, and Whole House standards of quality.
- Interpret CAD drawings and design specifications to install cabinet projects.
- Install wall cabinets, base cabinets, and vanities by leveling and properly securing cabinetry to wall studs.
- Adjust and align cabinet doors, drawers, and hardware.
- Install laminate countertops (commercial projects only).
- The position may require travel and the ability to work past normal business hours for project installations that are out of state or 2 hours away (commercial projects only).
- Provide technical support to other members of our cabinet installation team throughout the cabinet installation process.
- Select appropriate tools and methods ensuring quality and suitability for each project.
- Operate hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with company owners, designers, and other team members to ensure project requirements are met and timelines are adhered to.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Conduct quality inspections at various stages of installation to ensure craftsmanship standards are met and any defects are addressed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the installation process.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a cabinet installer or similar role in a cabinet shop.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a leadership position.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Ability to problem solve independently, efficiently, and effectively.
- Strong knowledge of custom cabinetry installation methods.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure, a level, and squares to ensure proper alignment.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to work under time constraints to meet specific timelines.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring lifting (up to 30lbs), bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent verbal communication and teamwork skills.
- Comply with all Whole House Cabinetry policies and procedures.
