Role Description
This is a flexible part-time with opportunities to grow and advance as ypu gain experience in rhis on-site role as a Direct Support Professinal and Job Coach at our location in North Canton, OH.
As a Job Coach, you will be responsible for providing individualized support and guidance to our trainees, helping them develop their job skills, fostering their interpersonal skills, and promoting their career growth. Your daily tasks will include person-centered coaching, open communication, work-readiness guidance, and ongoing support as needed.
Qualifications
DSP or
- Job Coaching skills are helpful, but not a deal breaker
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to provide guidance and support to individuals with disabilities
- Confidence with coaching and mentoring
- Empathy and patience
- Knowledge of vocational training programs and resources
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus
- Related degree or CESP certification is beneficial and pays more
