Job Description:
Reporting to the VP, Human Resources, the HR Coordinator will join WideOrbit’s Human Resources team; one that cares about our employees as they are our most valuable resource. The HR Coordinator will perform a variety of skilled administrative duties directly related to human resource functions while using their passion for HR to identify and implement continued process improvements. As a valuable member of the team, you will work with confidential and highly sensitive information while maintaining strict confidentiality. The HR Coordinator will work collaboratively with VP, Human Resources, Director of Total Rewards, HR Business Partners, Learning and Development Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Diversity & Inclusion Committee as well as WideOrbit’s Administrative Team while increasing their skills, knowledge, and opportunities for growth.
Here is what success will look like:
HR Operations contributions, include:
- Schedule meetings, update shared drive files, recordkeeping, and provide general admin support as needed.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Assist in maintaining data integrity in our HRIS (ADP Workforce Now).
- Maintain and update departmental organization charts.
- Proactively manage the contingent workers activities (new contractors and termed contractors) and manage the contingent workers spreadsheet.
- Support onboarding activities and assist with new hire orientations.
- Provide administrative support to the VP, Human Resources including calendar management, expenses, etc.
- Collaborate with the Director of Total Rewards, HR Business Partners, and Talent Acquisition team on various projects and tasks including the Wellness Program, Open Enrollment, and system & process integrations
- Help maintain HR intranet (HR Wiki pages)
Learning & Development contributions, include:
- Support Learning and Development activities including Udemy, calendar management, DiSC profile.
- Provide administrative support with Lattice including monthly departmental report, OKR status tracker, and any ad-hoc tasks.
- Support the company’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
To thrive in this role, we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of HR related experience.
- HRIS exposure nice to have.
- A successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be well-organized, have attention to detail and be a collaborative team player
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong interest in a career in Human Resources.
