ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee tooling sales orders and assign project numbers
- Ensure on-time orders from tool builders and built fit company standards
- Maintain required documents for tooling
- Manage internal tool design reviews.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Upkeep weekly customer progress reports, informing customers on changes to design or timeline
- Follow projects from start to finish to see that it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required company standards.
- Review quality requirements with the Quality Department and help create quality standards
- Inventory stamping material required and place orders when necessary
- Assist in developing training for the production department
- Follow company safety policies and attendance policy
- Train personnel on overall departmental processes and product quality.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day issues.
- Oversee performance evaluations to ensure they maintain, meet, or exceed ratings
Qualifications:
- Ability to multi-task.
- Good written and verbal communications skills; good personal skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail, ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
